Privacy Policy

Who operates this service
CaliFlightDeals is a service operated by Ignite Media LLC. “CaliFlightDeals,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Ignite Media LLC operating this service. Contact support@califlightdeals.com.
Information we collect
We collect your email address, subscription status, selected travel preferences and information you provide when contacting support. We collect a mobile number and SMS consent record only when you separately provide them for our text-alert program. Stripe processes payment information when you purchase Premium; do not send payment-card details to our support inbox.
Website and advertising information may include your IP address, browser user-agent, referral and campaign parameters, browser identifiers such as _fbp, and Facebook click identifiers such as fbc, where available and permitted. Privacy-choice records can include a browser-control identifier, your choice and timestamp, a hashed email used to reconcile a new signup, and a securely verified subscription link. A default setting is not recorded as affirmative advertising consent.
How we use information
We use information to deliver requested email and SMS alerts, operate paid subscriptions, maintain your preferences, provide support, prevent abuse, honor privacy choices, measure advertising results and improve advertising delivery where permitted.
Meta advertising and matching
We use Meta tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Where permitted, signup, actual trial-start and actual purchase events may be shared with Meta to match events to its users, measure our campaigns and improve ad delivery. A confirmed Beehiiv subscription is required before our completed-signup event is sent.
Matching information may include a hashed email address, hashed subscriber identifier and available browser or click identifiers. The proposed browser-context feature uses the original signup browser IP address and user-agent, not webhook or payment-worker network data. In the configured opt-out mode it operates only after advertising-choice checks permit it; a default “not opted out” state is not represented as affirmative consent. A separate explicit-consent mode remains available where required. The opt-out approach is separate from newsletter signup and does not require an additional signup checkbox.
Hashing does not make matching information anonymous. Meta may combine event information with information from its own services and other sources for advertising, measurement and other purposes described in its Privacy Policy and Business Tools Terms. We do not describe all of Meta’s uses as processing only on our behalf.
Your advertising choices
Visit Your privacy choices to opt out without unsubscribing from the newsletter or canceling Premium. The browser control stops advertising on pages where it is installed. Once securely linked to your subscription, the opt-out also suppresses its server-side Meta events. Another browser, an unlinked subscription or a hosted page without the control may need a separate choice or support request.
We honor Global Privacy Control and a Do Not Track value of “1” as advertising opt-outs. Disabling either signal later does not automatically re-enable sharing. Advertising opt-out is separate from the first-party usage-analytics control and from email or SMS unsubscribe.
Other providers
We use beehiiv for newsletters and subscriptions, Stripe for payments, and Hostinger and Cloudflare for hosting and security. Recommendations may use SparkLoop where enabled. These services receive information needed for their roles, subject to their applicable terms. Advertising uses are described separately above.
SMS privacy and choices
SMS participation is optional. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in records are not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes and are not sent to Meta for advertising. We use them to operate the text-alert program, document consent, provide support and comply with messaging requirements.
Reply STOP to withdraw SMS consent or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary up to five per week. Opting out of SMS does not unsubscribe you from email; use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop email delivery.
Retention and security
Privacy reconciliation records for new signups are removed after seven days by our maintenance routine. A browser privacy-choice cookie lasts up to one year; the matching local preference can remain until you clear browser storage. Subscription-linked opt-out records are kept to honor your choice and are not silently cleared when a browser cookie expires.
For signup browser matching, raw IP address and user-agent are removed after seven days or earlier on withdrawal. This does not promise that every security or hosting log has the same retention period.
Other subscription, transaction, support, consent and security records are retained as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes, legal obligations and dispute resolution. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction, deletion and unsubscribe
Contact support@califlightdeals.com for privacy requests and help with subscriber-wide advertising choices. We may need to verify the request before changing an account. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter to stop emails and the subscriber account portal to manage Premium. Advertising opt-out does not cancel either subscription.
Policy changes
When an approved policy is published, its effective date will appear here. Material changes will be identified on this page and, when required, communicated directly before a new use begins. We will obtain additional consent where required. Updating a policy does not retroactively authorize undisclosed sharing.
